ITINERARY

This is a stunning trek in the heart of Annapurna range. Embark on an unforgettable journey to Annapurna Base Camp, where each step reveals nature's splendor and cultural richness. Begin by traversing charming villages and terraced fields, immersing yourself in the vibrant Gurung and Magar communities. Ascend through rhododendron forests, ablaze with springtime colors, guided by the iconic fishtail peak of Machapuchare towards the heart of Annapurna Base Camp. 

DAY 01: KATHMANDU ARRIVAL (Alt: 1340m)
Arrival at Kathmandu. A pre-trek briefing will be given in the evening.

DAY 02: FLY TO POKHARA (Alt: 825m)
Flight to Pokhara. It serves a gateway to Annapurna Region. Afternoon free to explore Pokhara.

DAY 03: POKHARA TO KILYU (Drive), TREK TO GHANDRUK (Alt: 2000m)
Drive to Kilyu and then Trek to Ghandruk.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 04: GHANDRUK TO CHHOMRONG (Alt: 2200m)
Trek to Chhomrong, the lively heart of the Annapurna region.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 05: CHHOMRONG TO BAMBOO (Alt: 2300m)
Trek to Bamboo. A tranquil Hamlet surrounded by Bamboo plantation.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 06: BAMBOO TO DEURALI (Alt: 3200m)
Trek to Deurali. Deurali offers panoramic views of Machapuchhare, Gangapurna, and Annapurna III.

DAY 07: DEURALI TO MACCHAPUCHHRE BASE CAMP (Alt: 3700m) TO ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP (Alt: 4130m)
Trek to Macchhapuchre Base Camp, after a small break continue to Annapurna Base Camp, renowned for its stunning vistas.

DAY 08: ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TO DOVAN (Alt: 2500m)
One of the longest day of our trek as we trace our steps back to Dovan.

DAY 09: DOVAN TO JHINU DANDA (Alt: 1700m)
Trek to Jhinu Danda. Take a bath and relax at the hot water springs.

DAY 10: JHINU DANDA TO POKHARA (Drive) - FLY TO KATHMANDU (Alt. 1340m)
Drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara and then fly to Kathmandu.

DAY 11: KATHMANDU (Contingency Day)
Meals: Breakfast

DAY 12: DEPART KATHMANDU 
Transfer to the airport.

Inclusions

·       03-night good quality accommodation in Kathmandu on Bed and Breakfast basis.
·       01-night good quality accommodation in Pokhara on Bed and Breakfast basis.
·       On the trek, Accommodation in eco lodges on twin share
        (NB: The accommodation during trek is modest with simple room with bed and at some places having common toilet/ bathroom).
·       Transportation as per programme in a private air-conditioned vehicle. 
·       Basic Meals (B+L+D) will be provided as selected by the guide along with one hot drink (tea /coffee) after meals. 
·       Tea with biscuits in the afternoon upon reaching the Lodge after the trek.
·       Return Internal flights from / to Pokhara are included.
·       Annapurna National Park Fee.
·       01 Qualified trek guide.

·       01 porter for every 02 clients (* maximum weight limit is 12 Kilograms per person).
·       Satellite Phone in case of emergency (for personal use it will cost INR 300 / USD 4 per minute using satellite phone).

Exclusions

·       Taxes GST 5%.
·       Nepal Visa Fee (Not applicable for Indian Nationals).
·       Personal trek equipment’s like sleeping bag, duffel bag, water bottles, etc.
·       Drinking water on trek (payable directly) *. Average cost for 01 litre bottle is INR 100 to INR 200 / USD 1 to USD 3.
·       Hot showers and charging of batteries of mobile / camera etc. (payable directly)*. Approx charges for for shower and for charging batteries is INR 500 to INR 600 / USD 5 to USD 8 per time.  
·       Items of a personal nature such as bar bills telephone calls, laundry, extra mileage and any extra costs incurred due to natural                        calamities, flight delays etc.
·       Any meals / services not mentioned above.
·       Alcohol, soft drinks, beverages, etc.
·       Personal insurance and medical expenses.
·       Expenses arising due to cancellation of flights, strikes, landslides, snowfall or due to unforeseen uncertainties beyond the control of company.
·       Liability for or against theft, loss of goods, injury, accidents etc.
·       Personal travel / medical / cancellation / rescue insurance (Please get comprehensive medical insurance / accidental insurance and          should include evacuation by helicopter due to any emergencies that may arise).
·       Any rescue costs (helicopter evacuation / using horse etc).
·       Costs associated (transportation, accommodation and meals) with the trek finishing early OR you leaving the trek early OR the trek being extended due to bad weather of any other reason etc.
·       Permit fees if using person satellite phones or other communication devices or if filming is done.
·       Special Permits are required for filming and drone projects.
·       Extra Baggage weight (* maximum weight limit is 12 Kilograms per person. This includes the day pack).
·       Any kind of Tips.

Essential Information

Nepal Entry Requirements:

Passport:
Must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
Keep a few blank pages for visa stamps.
 
Visa (Not applicable for Indian Nationals)
Visa on Arrival available for most nationalities at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) and key land borders.

Required documents:
Completed arrival card and visa application form (can be filled online within 15 days before arrival).
One passport-size photo (digital photo booths available at the airport).
Visa fee in USD or other major currencies (sometimes Nepali rupees accepted).

Exemptions:
Indian citizens do not require a visa.
Children under 10 years old get a free visa.
 
Travel Insurance
Strongly recommended — must cover trekking up to 6,000 meters and emergency evacuation if you plan to trek.
 
Vaccinations & Health
No mandatory vaccines, but typhoid, hepatitis A/B, tetanus, and rabies are recommended for some travelers.
For trekking: carry a basic first aid kit and altitude sickness medication if advised by your doctor.
 
Customs
You can bring personal items duty-free.

Drones: Require special permits for use in Nepal.
