ITINERARY
The Himalayas are home to some of the most exotic locations in the world, have something to offer to everyone. Walking in these mountains is a life time experience and is an ideal getaway to explore the natural beauty of the Himalayas.
With us you hike the Dhauladhar Range of outer Himalayas in the Kangra region of Himachal Pradesh to some of the most beautiful villages, spots, lakes, forests and views of these majestic mountains. Also get the chance to meet the local Gaddi Tribe (Shepherd community) who maintain and use these ancient trails in the vertical landscape.
DAY 01: DELHI ARRIVAL
Arrival at Delhi. Transfer to hotel.

Full day tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Meals: Breakfast

DAY 03: DELHI TO PATHANKOT (Train) + DRIVE TO DHARAMSHALA (Alt: 1746m)
Train to Pathankot and then drive to Dharamshala (McLeod Ganj).
Visits of McLeod Ganj.

DAY 04: DHARAMSHALA TO SALLI VILLAGE (Drive) + TREK TO CHANDRELA (Alt: 2000m)
02 Hous drive to Salli Village and then trek to Chandrela.

DAY 05: CHANDRELA TO KARERI LAKE (Alt: 2945m)
Trek to Kareri Lake through mixed forests of Oak, Rhododendron and Pine Trees.

DAY 06: KARERI LAKE TO KARERI VILLAGE (Alt: 1799m)
Trek to Kareri Village. A small hamlet of Shepherd Community.

DAY 07: KARERI VILLAGE TO BALH VILLAGE (Alt: 2130m)
Trek to Balh Village, a small hamlet next to the stream.

DAY 08: BALH VILLAGE TO TRIUND (Alt: 2875m)
Trek to Triund, a flat meadow on top of the Ridge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 09: TRIUND TO MCLEOD GANJ (Alt: 1746m)
Trek down hill to McLeod Ganj.
Accommodation: Buddhist Monastery
DAY 10: DRIVE TO PATHANKOT - TRAIN TO DELHI
Drive from Dharamshala to Pathankot and then train to Delhi.

Exclusions

· Personal trek equipment’s like sleeping bag, duffel bag, water bottles, etc.
· Drinking water on trek (payable directly) *. Average cost for 01 litre bottle is INR 50 / USD 1 .
· Items of a personal nature such as bar bills telephone calls, laundry, extra mileage and any extra costs incurred due to natural calamities, flight delays etc.
· Any meals / services not mentioned above.
· Alcohol, soft drinks, beverages, etc.
· Personal insurance and medical expenses.
· Expenses arising due to cancellation of flights, strikes, landslides, snowfall or due to unforeseen uncertainties beyond the control of company.
· Liability for or against theft, loss of goods, injury, accidents etc.
· Personal travel / medical / cancellation / rescue insurance (Please get comprehensive medical insurance / accidental insurance and should include evacuation by helicopter due to any emergencies that may arise).
· Any rescue costs (helicopter evacuation / using horse etc).
· Costs associated (transportation, accommodation and meals) with the trek finishing early OR you leaving the trek early OR the trek being extended due to bad weather of any other reason etc.
· Permit fees if using person satellite phones or other communication devices or if filming is done.
· Special Permits are required for filming and drone projects.

Passport:
Must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
Atleast 02 blank pages needed for immigration stamps.
Travelers must hold a return or onward ticket and sufficient funds for their stay.
